During development the design emphasis was for Prometheus to excel sonically not only its electrical performance.
A convenient power switch is also on the fascia, meaning no more fumbling around behind the scenes with plugs and outlets.

Considered aesthetics and the box even has machined front, lid and solid sides - NOT sheet metal. 
Output on 4 pin Neutrik gold plated connectors .
Currently available in single channel version .
Special edition (SE) versions are also available of either version. This offers 50% more power supply capacitance, higher quality internal cabling and yet higher quality components are utilised in the regulator circuit.

Faraday screened mains transformer with world-wide voltage taps. 
True choke input power supply with massive custom choke and  136,000uf (204,000uF in SE version) of capacitance. 
Purpose designed Class A regulator circuit .
Two enormous TO-264 output transistors allow huge peak current delivery .
No standard extruded finned heatsinks. The output transistors are mounted on solid thick metal for reduced resonance.

Our Single Channel version has two 4 pin Neutrik gold plated connector outputs enabling two items to be powered if desired as long as they both require the same voltage.

It can be ordered with a selectable output voltage of 5, 9 or 12V. There is a switch on the rear panel to adjust this.
Alternatively, if a specific voltage is required, then having the fixed voltage version offers greater continuous current delivery.
